This image is a map for the Michigan, Kalamazoo shooting spree of February 2016. In this image, all three shooting locations are marked on the map alongside the location where the suspect was apprehended.
The first location marked on the map with a number 1 icon, shows the first shooting below Richland near road number 43. It marks that this happened at 6pm on Saturday at a townhouse complex. According to the legend on the top left, there was one person wounded here. The second shooting, marked with a number 2 icon, happened at 10pm at a Kia car dealership below W. Mich. Univ. (Western Michigan University), with two people killed. The third and final shooting, marked with a number 3 on the map, took place at a cracker Barrel restaurant at 10:15 pm, killing four and injuring one. The restaurant was located on road 94, close to Portage.
Lastly number 4 on the map marks the location where the suspect was apprehended at 12:30 am on Sunday. This location is near the Kalamazoo river and Morrow lake.
Other markings on the map include the location label for the suspects’ home, that was searched on Sunday morning, as well as road number 131 and the city label for Kalamazoo alongside the population (75,000). A scale bar indicating 2 miles can also be found. On the bottom left it is noted that the times mentioned in the map are approximates.
