Washington Post x Santa Fe New Mexican – Skiing in Chile

On the left side of the map, you can see the zoomed out view of Chile, which is highlighted in white. Surrounding countries such as Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina are labeled on the map. Other labels include the location label for South America and the water label for the Atlantic Ocean. A red rectangle is added to specify which area is displayed on the second part of the map.

On the right side, there is the area of the rectangle zoomed in. Chile is marked as well as the capital Santiago. Cities Valparaiso and San Antonio are also marked on the map, as well as the water label for the pacific Ocean and the country label for Argentina. In the Andes Mountains, the tip for the perfect location to summer cruise on the slopes is marked with a textbox as ‘’Portillo’’, where these slopes are located.

On both maps a scale bar can be found, one marking 500 miles and the other 30 miles.
