This image is a map of the shootings in San Bernardino, as well as the United States. The map is split up in two parts, the first part focuses on how the shootings of San Bernardino unfolded and the second part on the hundreds killed during the shootings since Newtown.
On the map on top, the location of the shootings is identified by a red square accompanied with a textbox. The same goes for the location where the two suspects were killed by the police and the homes of the shooters that have been investigated. Two of the events take place near the Santa Ana River and one near Redlands.
The second map below shows the nearly 340 people that have been killed in mass shootings since Newtown Conn. school massacre in which 27 people died, 20 of which were children. The shooting locations are marked blue on the map, spread across the states in the United States.
