On the left side, there are explanations on attacks happening on (top to bottom), Monday, Sunday and Saturday. Lines are connecting these events to the specific locations. From this we can see that on Monday, a subject was detained near Linden and Chelsea. On Sunday, several explosive devices were found in the same area, at Elizabeth station, marked with a red dot.

On Saturday, a bomb explosion just below Chelsea (marked on the map on the right with an explosion) injures 29 people. A second explosive device is found just a bit closer to Chelsea, and marked on the map with a red dot. Lastly, 3 more bombs were found on the left side of the map at Seaside Park.

Other POI’s like the Hudson river, Central park and Park Avenue have been marked on the map. There are two scale bars, the one on the left map represents 10 km and the one on the map on the right indicates 500 meters.
