The image is a choropleth color-coded map of China displaying the distribution of coronavirus deaths across different provinces.
Provinces with significant numbers of deaths are highlighted in brighter color. At this moment, Hubei was the highest with nearly 3000 deaths.
Other provinces ranked between 1 – 13 deaths, including provinces like Hibei, Hunan, Jilin, Shaanxi and Shanghai among many others. On the map, the provinces are also shown numbered from 1 – 26.
Surrounding countries include Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and India, which are also labeled as such.
The map also includes a scale for reference showing 750 km. Additional information in the form of German text indicates that the data collected relates to confirmed deaths since January 20, 2020.
